Play at your own pace

There are 30 journey levels and a rotating daily puzzle. You can swipe, tap, or type, with no countdown and no account to create. The game has no ads or purchases. Optional sound, motion controls, and adjustable journey difficulty let you make play more comfortable.

How words are checked

Wordwheel checks answers on your device against a bundled English word list from an-array-of-english-words. Each board accepts entries from that list that match its letters and required-letter rule. The list includes some uncommon words and may omit a word you know; it is not a complete authority on English.

Definition clues are selected suggestions. They are separate from the full set of accepted words. Word checks and difficulty adjustments do not use a live AI service.

Your progress belongs to this browser

Your words, unlocked levels, reveals, and preferences are saved locally. There is no cross-device account or cloud backup. Clearing site data can erase progress. Read our privacy notice for the distinction between game data and web hosting records.
