THE WORDWHEEL GUIDE

Choose what you want to learn

Keep the relaxed word-wheel game, and give it a subject. Explore a short glossary, play with only that topic’s terms, and revisit the vocabulary you discover.

How focused vocabulary play works

Each pack contains an expanded set of introductory terms with a subject-specific meaning, an example sentence and a reference for further reading. Its wheels use five to nine letter tiles and accept only terms in that pack’s glossary. Include the highlighted letter and use each tile once. Find 3–5 matching words on the same wheel to complete a level, then choose Next level. Every level offers more possible answers than its goal, and extra discoveries are welcome.

Open Clues for definitions and optional letter patterns. You have three letter reveals per board, and the final blank is always yours to solve. The general game is still available from Play and continues accepting all dictionary words that fit its rules.

Turn a discovery into practice

After a word is accepted, read its meaning below the input. Open the full meaning for an example and reference. Your discovered terms collect across the pack’s wheels. In Review vocabulary, try recalling a term from its definition before revealing the answer. Mark words to practise again, or mark ones you remembered.

These marks are your own reminders, not an assessment of mastery. Short word puzzles can support a study routine; they do not replace a course, reading practice or professional training.

Saved on your device

Topic progress, clue reveals and review choices stay in this browser. No account is needed. Practice points are separate from public rankings and do not unlock journey levels. Clearing browser data removes these saves. Definitions work from bundled content; playing does not send words to a dictionary service.
