Why was my word rejected?

Check that it has at least three letters, includes the required letter, uses only available tiles once each, and has not already been found. If those rules are satisfied, it may be missing from the bundled dictionary. Uncommon entries and omissions can occur. See how the dictionary works.

Where did my progress go?

Progress is saved for this website in your current browser. Another device, another browser, private mode, or cleared site data can start a new game. There is no account backup to restore deleted progress. When storage is blocked, the game displays a saving-unavailable message.

Why does the daily puzzle repeat?

The daily board rotates through the game’s 30-board collection; it is not an unlimited feed of newly created puzzles. It changes at midnight UTC, which may be a different local time where you live.

Keyboard and pointer options

Play by typing in the word field and pressing Enter, by tapping tiles and choosing Check word, or by swiping. A swipe is never required. Buttons have accessible labels and visible keyboard focus. Word-check feedback is announced through a live status region.

Sound, movement, and time

Sound starts off. Open Settings to control sound and animations. Celebrations respect your system’s reduced-motion preference. No game action requires finishing within a time limit. You can use browser zoom and choose Relaxed difficulty for newly started journey levels.
