Game data stored on your device

Wordwheel uses browser local storage under the key wordwheel-player-v1. It contains found words, level progress, daily sessions, clue reveals, shuffled layouts, difficulty and sound/motion settings, and recent play activity used by the game.

The app reads this data to resume your game. Its code does not send this saved game record to a server. Local progress remains until you clear it, your browser removes it, or the storage becomes unavailable. It does not sync between devices or browsers.

Web requests and hosting

Loading this website sends ordinary connection information to our hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site. That information can include your IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps, and referrer information. Infrastructure services may process or log these requests for delivery, reliability, and security. This notice does not promise a specific retention period for infrastructure logs.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Wordwheel application does not set advertising cookies, include advertising networks, or embed an analytics SDK. Local storage is used for game functionality. Fonts are served with the site rather than requested from a third-party font service.

There are no account, payment, chat, or newsletter forms in the game. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the word field.

Your choices

To remove your saved game, open your browser’s site-data or privacy settings, find playwordwheel.com, and delete its stored data. This resets your progress and preferences. If you block local storage or use a private browsing session, progress may not survive closing the browser.

Copy result puts a short daily score summary on your clipboard only when you choose that action. Wordwheel does not post it to social media for you.
